2008 Random thoughts…where splinters hurt…V-day is just weird…and my hair color is fading…

Hi…this is another random thoughts entry…actually they are not really random thoughts, but it basically means that i talk about alot of different things that don’t happen in the same day (but still relatively in order of how they occurred) on one entry…just for differentiation…randoms thoughts can contain stuff over a month…other non-random thoughts entry usually happened within the same day…

yes…splinters…as small as 2mm in length…hurt…….it’s really just an accident…was having dinner at East Coast last sun…using those plastic-wrapped wooden chopsticks whose sanity is not always trusted…tried to remove the plastics like poking straw into BBT…then felt a sharp pain…n noticed a little white dot on my left thumb…figured it wasn’t really there…but got scared when at school…one of the lab partners ask me to go to the school clinic (free consultation btw)to check up JIC…2 nurses couldn’t see anthg (prob becos it was too small, or that a magnifying glass wasn’t available)…randomly used a sterile needle to poke around…thumb bled a little n healed by nite-time…woke up the following morn…still see white dot there…didn’t trust the nurses Dx (Dx means diagnosis)…found a twizzer to pluck at it…n pulled out a thin splinter 2mm long vertically out…pain stopped from then on…Praise the Lord!!

actually…i found myself to be rather brave in this case…the way tat i could look at my thumb as i tried to poke my way thru it…wondering if this is wat happens when u see too much blood in ur line of professional…but i was also scared at the same time when the same lab partner told me tat the nurses may have to use a knife to make a slit in thumb to remove the splinter…saying all this just before i went to the clinic…nuts…BE CAREFUL WITH WOODEN CHOPSTICKS MAN!!!!…

yes…today is V-day…and yes, it was weird…believe me when i say that i have absolutely no opposition to the couples who will be celebrating this lovely occasion on this normal thursday that has been spiced up by a weird 15th century calendar event planner who thought that expression of love for someone should be done in one day, not over the whole year…and that the day should be found in Feb, where it has no holiday of its own…yes, absolutely no opposition…but i oppose to wat they gave the class as a little V-day token…

V-day token: wrapped up in a small ziplock (like those used to put tablets), with a gentle loving drug label on one face, saying, “Happy V-day Survival Kit”…ziplock is transparent, and immediately u detect and recognise the brands of the 2 items in the bag…Chupa Chups & Okamoto…for those who recognise neither of both brands…the former is a lollipop…the latter a c*nd*m….the lollipop was a joy to many…but our lecturer warn us about opening the right wrapper… -_-!!!…nuts!

and yes again, my hair color is fading…cos new hair is growing…n GW didn’t put much color on the inner sides of my hair…….no matter…i shall patiently wait for 6months…n it’s back to Hoyu Beautiteen bleaching hair color DIY…will need GW’s help again…hmm…must save to pay her…. …….

anw…alittle prelude…i’m taking psychs this sem…just a little intro mod…to combat those darn ppl who think tat they noe how to make others feel miserable by being able to correctly guess their behaviors and habits…n to noe a little more of how to avoid being brainwash by false psychs…so by compulsory measure, i need to take part in surveys in their research programmes…voluntarily yet forced…since i needed to credited a min. of 12 pts…but will update later on the interesting expts i did…don’t expect much though…the expts are really just to manipulate ppl in a fashionable way without hurting their pride or dignity….
