Spores or no spores…how should i know?

ok…so yesterday’s prac was quite a disaster…though part II continues today…

we had to do staining on some unknown bact….lucky if i know wat it is…but with all the clanging of bottles and instruments…i forgot the method and i wrote the wrong timing down…then i burnt the green dye too much…resulting in charred places on my slide under microscope view…n eventually leading me to redo the whole thing…only to end up with all little rod-shaped MOs stained red (we used another red dye)….supposedly no spores since the spores would have been dyed green…but with the method partially wrong…who can tell wat is right n wat is wrong?…

but it wasn’t just me…everyone was as confused…some even saw round cells…freaky!!…so all i can summarize is tat Thank God! i still got some parts rite…

the next was incubation….just pray that myself (if u remembered…tat is S.aureus) would grow so that i can see gd results today…Lord, let them fluorish…..on the agar plate….n let me get enough marks to get a B+…amen…

An Interesting day come once in a blue moon…

and it all happened last fri…i think…

it started out with a usual sch day…with me dragging my feet ard the place since it would be another long break b4 i got to my last lec….

then my fren n i decided to visit the booths of the foyer area…fun enough…we signed up for cards with entitlements to discount and cheaper movie tix at cathay…plus another card with a free-spin sure-win lucky draw (only sad thing was tat i could have gotten a singtel package but i ended up with some goodies…not too shabby anw)…some cotton candy (which i didn’t take) and one bubble tea…so it was a fruitful day in a way…

but the real weird part was when i headed to boundary for ignite…honestly…such things don’t happen..but 10 mins to my 1hr journey…the bus i was taken took down all the number signs and started to drove again…so to rephrase tat…the bus had no number!!!!!…so intently, the bus was not gonna stop for anyone or any bus stop unless someone on the bus wants to get off…i got kinda scared so i did a quick prayer to God…praying tat i’ll still end up at my final destination….Thnk God i did…but the next funny thing was tat when the bus reached TP…i was the only one left on the bus…so to re-emphasize on my mom’s theory of new chaffeurs to places everyday (bus drivers)…i was SERIOUSLY n luxiously chaffeured to my final stop at the serangoon interchange for the next half an hour…would have been better if the bus drove me directly to boundary instead….

and the next interesting thing…NO ONE was interested in wat i had to say about the above…so tat’s why i’m putting it here on my blog…at least some nice soul will read it… XD…

Neglect…and who to blame

honestly…i have neglected the blog for quite some time….no…i had a lot to write…just that darn school is asking too much than it can give….so no time

so anw…the summary is that sch hols 2 weeks back is not sch hols….n i’ll will be missing the mission trip to Indonesia this coming wed 14 Mar for a Pharmaco test…darn darn darn…

Plus…last week’s prac with myself (me being S.aureus) turn to be upsetting…firstly, I didn’t like me…n hence refused to grow on the agar…then again i may have killed myself by putting them in too hot in an agar…so i became smart and for this week’s prac…i waited slightly longer for the agar to cool b4 adding myself…the result?…I bloomed into a flower…i so happy with the results………………………………then again, u guys are prob not so interested in this rite?

I recently took on the role of doing a little interpreting in Powerhse…stress yes, considering it will soon be no-script-based, but interesting….helps me revise Chinese for my attachment later on as well…pretty beneficial, but to others…Chinese, the all to long forgotten lang. of present day youths which they can’t wait to bury beneath their feet and never bring its results to pass ( a little like how i felt when i was in JC w/o Chinese…heee XD…evil)…but advice to all…wait till the time when u need it to talk to a Chinese-speaking person…AHA!!!……………………….-_-…apologies, my mind not set straight yet….

ok…mind better…i found the most two useful words to describe watever u do as a service unto the Lord…actually it has been exisiting for centuries just tat it didn’t came to me any earlier…but it came last nite at Powerhse when the speaker post the qn…y do we exist?……and i gave my ans as “For Jesus”….n this is like the simplest yet most accurate ans, in my opinion, u can gave to ppl, esp to ur non-Christian frens…examples listed below:-

Y go to church? For Jesus

Y participate in Youth? For Jesus

Y read the bible? For Jesus

Y bathe, take care of urself, eat properly, exercise and stay healthy, increase ur knowledge, educate others, and respect ur elders? For Jesus, ALL of them!

Y waste ur time on all the above? For Jesus…n it is NOT waste of time (try not to lose ur cool at ur frens here)

I think you will regret being a Christian? I won’t, cos it’s For Jesus. (also don’t lose ur cool here, for Jesus taught u patience)

Pretty neat huh!…but of course, pls pls PLS don’t use in the following cases, limit “For Jesus” when u truly believe it is for Him and u know He enjoys it when u do it, but NOT in the following cases:-

Y do go toilet so many times a day? For Jesus

Y do u not do ur HW? For Jesus

Y did u rob the bank? For Jesus

Do u seriously think u did anything rite for the above? For Jesus, yes

Are you proud being a Christian doing all the above? For Jesus, yes

………………………………………-_-….honestly, don’t be ignorant…these examples do nthg to glorify the Lord…don’t ever do it…
