Blogging abt life…

initially…i agreed to doing a project abt blogging becos i thought it was interesting…until i did implications of blogging…now i’m scaring myself…

my mom set me a warning to NOT disclose my life too much…by not too much, i’m sure she meant DON’T!…she say i should stick to comment on other local or global issues…but tat scared me too cos commenting too much of such stuff encourages extremist opinions and POVs…darn the perverts of the world…

anw…i figured tat if i was discrete…it should pass my mom’s “stamp of acceptance”…so i’ll start off my saying tat i went somewhere with someone n bought some stuff…isn’t tis interesting XD…

ok…so i was shopping somewhere n i entered a Christian bookshop…i was trying to look for the album by Apologetix again…but instead i found n album titled “Today”…by Johnathan Tan…which by coincidence is printed in S’pore…wat r the odds…it will be even better if we knew the producer Andrew Lum…hmm…

the someone n me also met a lot of school students…n their uniforms resemble tat of Rivervalley students…but wat was interesting was tat the someone noted tat these RV-like kids went out in large grps n mixtures of boys n girls…with all the guys carrying the load…so gentleman…so different some ppl…anw…i figured my junior will nvr accept mixtures of boys and girls going out together…apparently she can’t stand guys polluting her studying env…hmm…i fear for her future XD…

at powerhse yesterday…our pastor spoke of the koran interpretation tat ppl tat sacrifice for the ——*, will receive 71 dark hair virgins…one, it’s a terrible interpretation…two, it’s darn hiliarious cos Robin Williams made fun of it in his stand-up comedy…quoting frm his show (which i’ve watched more than15 times)…

“another koran scholar found tat the correct interpretation was not 71 dark hair virgins, but 71 crystal clear raisins………………………….slight difference in interpretation really!!”

n some ppl told me tat the interpretation is 72 n not 71…conclusion?…it’s prob not true cos info is not consistent…not like the bible…pray tat the Lord will bless the ppl in the middle east n save the His children frm suffering…The God of Jacob, be their fortress…

Random thoughts put into one…

i feel so bad tat i somewat neglect tis blog a little…must be lonely the little guy…having no new stuff to put up for limited public view XD…

in any case…………i cannot make Dettol…the final product was supposed to be clear but it turned cloudy…darn …my TA said tat i added too little KOH, or some of the KOH was lost and resulted in an unstable soap formation, which turns it cloudy on adding too much water….just like when u add a lot of water to a little Dettol…my fren told me tat when the other TAs said tat my product failed, i went into a trance like state and lost my trail of thought…she said i looked pretty depressed and tat i’ve lost all interest to finish up the rest of my products …i’m smiling becos i didn’t noe…i guess i was too keen to make a Dettol formulation tat i had a sudden shock…

the next ting…good news…one of my projects have cleared…yeah!!!…it was a distressful one since i had to rush the compiling and editing in half a day…tat’s abt 8 hrs or so…but it’s done…Muah hahaha!!!…oops…but another project tat gave me another set of distress recently was the jap project…ok, the project itself is not stressful…but i was caught bet another setting of whether to take the pri 6 japanese sch students for the tour at Bukit Chandu n NUS…poor Jap kids…kids back in Jap prob got to go other states for their final field trip…but those in S’pore are stuck to hang out with a bunch of oldies (20yrs n above)…*sigh…anw…initially i wasn’t keen cos i’m rather on my own, n i had a lot of work to do…but apparently God helped to keep my Nov 1st free (surprisingly)…so i’m going to Bukit Chandu with the kids…well, thnk God tat He allowed both of my project grp members to go on the same time slot…

and the next ting…i went buffet with my junior on fri…even though i’m going for a buffet again today…the onli difference is tat the buffet on fri is sushi n the one today is western (not tellin u guys the place)…it’s not a gd ting actually cos i blotted myself twice in a week …i tink it was becos of the “spirit” of the upcoming week (my recess week XD) tat i ate too much of some stuff…so guess i’m going on diet again…but both buffets were gd…n i left the places as a happy customer…food galore…

finally….death note…the movie….yes!…now i can watch it…tis was the movie tat my wanna-go-Japan-n-went-n-came-back-feeling-gd fren wanted to watch…yet she has not and she is counting on the movie’s release in S’pore…which is on 19 oct…yeah!!! XD…i’m watching not becos of any actor…but for the Jap language n the story plot…my junior says the story sounds scary…but i tink it’s interesting…perhaps i’ll speak a little abt the story next time…but i’m still not very familiar with the whole story…but i can tell u tat a lot…n i mean a lot of ppl die in the show…but they are prob 2-min on-screen actors …

haha…i’m going pharmy…recent preparations made in the dispensing lab are very much related to daily life….like the sunblock lotion we made last mon…n the dettol solution and acne cream we are making tis coming mon…yahoo!!!

to all who are concerned…my flu is gone…i believed it is all gone but i still cannot stop coughing…i wonder if it’s a contagious effect becos of my mom’s cough (she got sick becos of me)…u noe, like when u see someone yawn, u wanna do it too…hmm…

thnk god tat none of the ignites got sick…other than PT and me…so no coughing choir…

my projects are killing me…one is on a blogging website…where we analyze blogging n its implications, which i tink i’m likely to do compiling of a outline….another is abt filtration which i m i/c of editing and compiling…again…another is project to take P6 students of the Jap primary sch around NUS…which i tink is not neccessary since NUS is pretty boring (maybe we can show them the biggest auditorium n wow them with how poorly conditioned it looks )…then there is pharm law which my team needs to act, but idea may be too stupid…n lastly stats, which until now have no idea wat in the world to do..argh…dread projects…

btw….just to talk sthg else…the active ingredient in Dettol is chloroxylenol…which is not recommended to be placed on the skin for prolonged periods…

with tat…i end tis entry…hmm…realised tat there is no common theme in this entry -_-!!!

I’ve caught the blues…

oops…sorry….wat i meant to say was tat i caught the flu…frm my junior…initially i thought it couldn’t be her…but i was soon proved wrong…EXACT same symptoms…

at the moment…panadol for cold is not working….although high fever stopped on sun morn…my body still seems warm….will visit the [isha] in a while…wat i nearly freaked out abt was the huge amt of sweating tat took place while i was at school this morn…normally on a hot day, sweating does occur a lot…but for me, it was practically raining sweat…thnk god tat there was no smell…n tat the sweat doesn’t stop until i’m in an air-con place……n to tink yesterday i asked my fren to avoid cold places…today i’m asking her to spend more time in cold places….hmm….cold rooms i guess

the symptom tat gave me sufficient evidence tat i got my flu frm my junior was the coughing….immense and uncontrollable…my mouth was buried in my palms every 5 mins for the whole of today…n it was killer cos i had jap tutorial, which required me to speak alot…thnk god i didn’t cough while talking…but i was abt to break out in profuse sweating again….n believe me, it was not becos i was nervous…

accompany the cough n fever is all to familiar sore throat n disgusting green-yellow glycoproteins (tis is mucus btw)…i practically cannot swallow athg…which i tink is good for a diet but bad for a symptom…n i can’t breathe as smoothly….it’s either nthg comes out or some comes out….sorry u have to see the description tis way…my advice is don’t imagine how it looks like…

in any case, i shouldn’t blame my junior for passing me the flu…but i guess it’s only natural to “suspect” her since she was the only one coughing so much n going around hugging ppl so much….let’s pray hard for the igniters…we can’t afford a coughing choir…hmm…maybe a coughing choir would be a good performance at the President star charity…XD

btw…my TC tutor is not the lecturer…but another sensei whose name i have now forgotten…she is really a powerful one…Japanese all the way…sometimes i can’t even catch up…hmm…i need to do some [benkyou] (studying) soon…

also…i tink i learned tat pseudoephedrine hydrochloride is actually a non-drowsy form of the actual ephedrine hydrochloride…which is a poison….though we call it a poison, correct usage allows treatment to stuffy or running noses…not sure how it works…but my class made nasal drops using this in dispensing yesterday…had the urge to use the nasal drops but couldn’t cos the purity of the cpds used cannot be confirmed…but like i said, it doesn’t work for me (pseudoephedrine hydrochloride is used in the panadol tablet for cold relief…non-drowsy formulation)…will hv to make a visit to the doc’s….going off…
